Lance Lesher's story is one of unwavering commitment to country and community. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy at the age of 17, served three years, and then earned his commission through the United States Naval Academy. What followed was more than 29 years of distinguished service as a Surface Warfare Officer.
Lance had the honor of commanding the amphibious warship USS COMSTOCK (LSD 45) and serving as Commander, Task Force SIXTY-TWO — overseeing naval operations across the Mediterranean and Black Seas and North Africa in 2020.
Today, Lance channels that same leadership into his community — as a veteran advocate, community volunteer, and candidate for Chairman of the Republican Party of Virginia Beach.
